This series consists of reports made by officers of the South West District Office (also know as the Southern District Office) of the Department of Native Affairs/Welfare. The reports provide a detailed log of activity of the district office and documents interactions officers of the district office had with Aboriginal people within the South West district, as well as other officials. The reports often provide detailed accounts of towns and places (e.g. schools, missions, medical facilities, regional government offices) visited.
